How do I start a profile?

Starting your own profile is easy.
Click on the create account link and follow these steps:

  • Enter in your information and code
  • Review the “Terms of Use Agreement” and if you agree with it click on the box
  • Hit the “Create User” button
  • Wait for your email and then click on the link
  • Once you verified your email account your ready to go!


How do I enter more than one profile?

Every profile needs a unique email address. To have multiple profiles you need multiple email accounts.


How do I get my profile on the wall?

Profiles on the wall are the 30 profiles that have the most votes within the latest two weeks. The same is for the top five that show on the home page. These are the profiles that members and visitors consider the best profiles. Members who promote their profile with good pictures, video links, and audio files will usually get the most votes. Some self promotion and getting family friends and coworkers to vote for them is also suggested.


How do I find profiles in my area?

To find profiles in your area please go the Advanced link next to the search box and click on it. When you’re in the advance search enter a search word then enter your zip code and distance you want to search within.


How do I contact a member?

Any member can be contacted through StageWall’s internal messaging system. You need to have your own profile in order to use this system. All members can contact each other no mater what category they have their profile under. Some members may also choose to show their telephone number or email address.


When do I vote for a member?

You can vote for a member anytime. You are allowed only one vote and you must type in a comment with your vote. If you have you own profile you want to log in first so that member you’re voting for can see your profile as well. Try and vote for the members who you think stand out from the rest!


How does a member get their profile listed on top?

When searching or browsing any category members are listed by the newest members first. You can then sort by newest members last or by the most voted for.


How do I load a video?

StageWall does not store videos onto its site, however StageWall allows users to link videos from other approved video websites. You can copy the address bar of your browser from the video site and paste it into the video “Load” box. Currently, StageWall supports YouTube only.


How do I load an audio file?

Just browse to your audio file and click on "load". Supported audio files are mp3, wav and other common audio formats.


When should I report an abuse?

Please review the Terms of Use Agreement, and when you see a StageWall member that violates the terms of use please hit the “Report Abuse” button. Write what the member is abusing, and then hit submit. Stagewall will review reported abuses and will decide to take the appropriate actions.


Why does my computer time out when loading a file?

Pictures and audio files larger than 5megs will often cause your web browser to give you a “time out” error message. Try and use files that are smaller than this.


I don’t see the category I want, what can I do?

If you don’t see a category that you wanted to post under please email categories@stagewall.com and give us your suggestion.
